SciFi and Fantasy Art Birds in Flight by Sophie ´Photosoph´ Matthews

These are three of my bird creatures: royal is the red one with the crown-thing on its head, Pilo is the one wearing the hat, and... I don't have a very good name for the cat one... at the moment its name is 'Kat'.

I drew Pilo first, and really liked him. I decided I'd like to colour him on photoshop, but realised that he'd probably be really small... and I knew I had enough small pics on elfwood... so I added some other birds to make the picture bigger. I wasn't sure what to do for a background, so I drew random clouds, and then the clouds started to look like a big swirly thing, so I just made them look more and more like a big swirly thing... and this is what it looks like now.
The picture, unfortunately, is still small... but I don't mind that too much.

My favourite would be pilo, though; but Royal was one of the first birds like this that I drew. I drew Pilo a little later. Hmm... 'Fluzz'... I like that. Although I think I'll change it to 'Fluz', if you don't mind... or I might keep it with two z's. I don't know... Cool name! It's got personality to it too. Thanks for the suggestion!"

I have an EXTREME weakness for cute things, especially artwork. And your little birde creatures are so... friggin... adorable!!! Soooo... despite my best efforts not to Ive drawn a cute little girl friend for pilo... shame shes rosey colored and has freckles. I couldnt help myself but to do some fan art. i colored her in colored pencils imediatly after seeing this picture and had to comment to ask for forgivness. If you ask I will throw her out and not think of making one of your little birds again or I could send her to you for your critism? Whatever you perfer Im sorry I used your idea. I havent posted her or anything, shes sitting on the desk infront of me. Please comment me back asap so ill know what to do. I love them (obviously) by the way!! I think fluz is my favorite tho...
