of shed inhibitions.
as the surreal glittering dragons
small as your finger
and silversmooth as mercury
flittered indulgently in your ear
did you still believe the stories?

can't you remember?
welcoming that first drop on your tongue.
that first taste of oberons
liquordrenched lust flower
knowing that burning stinging
yet utterly freeing
feeling in your throat?

i remember being here
with you in this moonlit circle of stones.
please remember taking my hand
and seeing the stones glow
in the reflection of the moon
in their dewsoaked faces,
like the songs written on
two lovers lips
glistening in the moon
