The thing in the rigth is something like a devil I called 'Lynx'; it is made with pencil. The thing in the left is one of myy favourites birds, the vermilion flycatcher (in my country we call it 'churrinche'). It is made with watercolours.

Even demons need pets to brighten up their day... and the little bird does do that. I have to say, your art and style are strangely compelling in a rather morbid sort of way, but at the same time, something makes me look at them again and again. I suppose you could say that they are haunting. I can't really critize your style, I'm not an artist of paint or drawing.

I would love for you to stop by sometime.

Yes, great contrast, nice bird and quite original demon!

... no one but me noticed that the "Lynx" is somewhat of a ghost. ... notice how it fades into the background. It’s either that or it’s uhh... don’t know what it’s called, but it can fade into objects (not through them). A third explanation is that it’s the artists style. I’d like to get a reply from the artist on this one.

Is the "Lynx" meant to be grinning? From what I can tell the "grin" comes from the simple fact that its upper and lower teeth dont or cant come together. When I block that out by holding my hand over it, the "Lynx" has a much softer expression.

It’s beyond me how people can do this sort of thing with watercolors, neat!
