| 10 Aug 2001 | Rachel N. Bobbitt | Wow congratulations on actually finishing a novel, thats something most of us in Wyvern aspire to but never actually do. Oh yeah... *skips off to read*
Thank you, it is hard work (especially as I have rewritten it several times and at over 100'00 words thats no small feat) it is well worth it when that printer spews the last page out and you have a full manuscript in your hand, complete and all your own work. | |
| 11 Aug 2001 | Rachel N. Bobbitt | By the by, I did get a chance to peruse your story. I was impressed with your dialogue and character motivation, it was mostly very believable. The technical difficulties (a few) didn't detract from the sense of direction, the plot pulled me through to the end of the chapter.... (I love sci-fi. Thank you, but which technical difficulties are you refering to? If it's Semel's speech, I can live with that, as that was delibratly made difficult to represent the difficulty of understanding how this guy speaks anyway (hence characters often ask Semel to repeat himself slower on very important points in the story) otherwise, I would love to know what other technical difficulties you found in it. However, I am glad you like it, and will probably post another four chapters up soon (giving out the plot for the first six chapters). | |
| 4 Oct 2001 | Nathan 'Daetrin' Fierro | Before I read....the last one sounds the most fun. Let's find out, shall we? Steven 'Draken' Pickard replies: "Hope you enjoy" | |
| 13 Oct 2001 | Felicor Rekesah | "Upon Wings That Knows No Fear" sounds really poetic.. the title i mean... well, must go and read it before it actually flies away. Steven 'Draken' Pickard replies: "It's far from poetically however." | |
| 13 Oct 2001 | Richard B. 'Drakan' O'Keeffe | Hey you ripped my nick Steven 'Draken' Pickard replies: "Far from it. I have been using Draken for the last decade and a half, how about you?" | |
| 23 Oct 2001 | Sarah R. Murphy | hehe. Not much of a sci-fi fan myself, i have given my hand a go at them though. But this ain't about me, its about you and your stories. Well, what can i say, they're great. Very well written, the flashback got confusing, but that is probably just me ^.^ Steven 'Draken' Pickard replies: "In what way did you find it confusing?" | |
