| 2 Jun 2009 | Salim Al Mumin | Loading...Don’t mention it. Any friend of dragons and fantasy is a friend of mine. Just check out my profile sometime and see some of my work (once Elfwood gets them published anyway). | |
| 2 Jun 2009 | Salim Al Mumin | Loading...From your work my friend, I can see you have much the affinity for dragons and griffins and other fantastical things to that liking. You are most definitely a man after my own heart. Keep up the good work. Joshua Stephen Mersereau replies: "Thank you very much! I hope to see some of your work soon" | |
| 3 Jun 2009 | Salim Al Mumin | Loading...Don’t mention it my friend. Just keep up the great work, and never feel embarrassed about showing your work to the world; for no one’s art is ever better than another’s...just different and creative, and it is by the level of difference and creativity that we judge the quality of a person’s work (or at least it should be). | |
| 8 Jun 2009 | Salim Al Mumin | Loading...Great and wonderful news! Elfwood has finally published my artwork, and it is ready for the viewing public. I invite you to come and visit my profile, and see what works I have created. | |
| 24 Jun 2009 | Salim Al Mumin | Loading...You make very fine work my friend. You have captured the bewitching spirit and otherworldly mystique found in the creature called the Snow Leopard. This picture reminds me of the sketches you would find in very old books published back in the days before photography. Your skills quite literally are like those of a master artist. Keep up the fine work, Josh. | |
| 9 Jul 2009 | Tom Draco Noir Taylor | Loading...hi Joshua! really great gallery, but I am partial to Dragons as you might guess! You are very talented, especially for your age. And I see you are a fellow percussionist. What kind of setup do you have? presently I must content myself with a Yamaha electric drum pad set, since i live in a very small town and don’t want the neighbors to raise an angry mob.Oh, also I used to do a little illusion(Stage Magic) or sleight of hand- it’s a lot of fun and many illusions are quite simple if you know the gimmick. Joshua Stephen Mersereau replies: "I have an electric drum set. A roland 3.0. I used to have an acoustic 7 piece pearl set but I sold it. I regret it now though. I like stage magic, but my area of expertise lies in slight of hand. I find that all of the other stuff comes a little easier after that." | |
| 21 Jul 2009 | Salim Al Mumin | Loading...Hi Josh, glad to hear you’re back. Yes, I’ve posted some new work on Elfwood, and more is on the way. I have been doing just dandy, steadily fiddling away at my work getting it just right for the day I will show it to the world. So what all have you been up to?
Your friend,
Salim Joshua Stephen Mersereau replies: "I’m working at a summer camp called Camp Medeba as a camp counsullor. I’ve been pritty busy and I haven’t done much art on the computer, just sketches. I will scan them in the computer and photoshop them when I’m finished the camp counsulling. Hope to hear from you soon." | |
