I started this picture before I had a tablet. I sketched it, scanned it into the computer and coloured it in with a mouse in photoshop. I'm a bit of a perfectionist and love detail. The previous picture is in the gallery for those of you who haven't seen it and I didn't mind the overall look but couldn't stand the fact that all of the fur had no detail. As posative as all of the coments were about the background (and I very much appriciate all of them, thanks guys), I thought that it needed a bit more scenery and contrast because I don't think that I'm very good with background scenery. Aswell as I wanted the picture to have more atmosphere. I would like to be a concept artist for movies and games. I guess the most time consuming part of this picture was drawing all of the fur and the feathers, yes, I took the time to draw EVERY SINGLE PIECE OF FUR AND EVERY SINGLE FEATHER. All in all, it took almost 25 hours to complete this picture starting after I got the tablet. Please don't be afraid to leave any constructive criticism. I feel that is constructive criticism the best way for me to improve my skills. ; )

Well done mate! 13

:-) Joshua Steven Mersereau replies: "Thanks Yoni!!! This picture definitely needed something and I think you’re right that the wing needs to blend into the environment more. Thanks for the input! "

I like this version more than the previous one. The lighting is better and more dramatic.
