In everyone's imagination they will run into a creature that will become their companion and closest friend during the duration of your stay in your imagination. For some people it will be dragons, for some maybe a cat or a dog, or a tiger or lion, in this case, mine is a gryphon.

Wonderful lighting here makes the gryphon "pop" out almost realistically. I could imagine meeting him in the woods. Quite the noble creature.

I like the shading, and I especially like the background. Excellent technique on this piece. My imagination companion is definitely a giant crab.
