This one I did as an experiment. I tried a different technique that I have seen in a lot of speed paintings on youtube. I also decided to cut back on the detail in order to get this digital painting done all in one sitting, as opposed to all of my other pictures I have up (exept for the ink one and the pencil sketches). Let me know what you think. I personally think that it needs more detail but for some reason I keep telling myself not to couch it anymore. I might come back to it in the distant future though.

Truly Fantastic I have to say!

I love it a lot...it branches quite a bit into my territory. 7

:-) Joshua Steven Mersereau replies: "Thanks Salim! Glad you like it."

Wow, love it. The snake is really good, and the background makes it kind of mysterious.

:-) Joshua Steven Mersereau replies: "Thanks! I thought the background looked a little sloppy because I just kind of threw it all together. I’m glad you liked it!"

That’s an awesome piece! But the thing I like about it most is that special glowing acidic light, amazing!

:-) Joshua Steven Mersereau replies: "Lighting and shading can fix even a crappy picture."

This is really my favorite, the colour schemes and details are fantastic

:-) Joshua Steven Mersereau replies: "Thanks Roelien! I have an updated version that I have yet to upload which has a little more effort put into it."

It needs nothing more than it already has =) I really like the glowing and the shadows on the sand

:-) Joshua Steven Mersereau replies: "AAWWE, Thanks Dona! I’ve already done some touching up on this piece though. You like the glowing magic in this picture now, just wait till you see it now."

Okay, this is cool. If u are ever going to touch it up, make a copy of the original and have two files of the same picture so if u dont like the touch up and extra detail u still have what u had. personally I really like the way it looks as is.

:-) Joshua Steven Mersereau replies: "Thanks Catlin! I’ll be sure to do that. It’s nice to hear that you like this one so much! I’ll stop by your profile sometime today!"
