I’m loving the highlights here.

Looking at your work is almost like listening to a beautiful symphony playing a composition that is both moving and spiritual.

You should trying making an art video of your work and setting it to music.

:-) Joshua Steven Mersereau replies: "Thanks Salim! Sometimes it feels as if it would take as long just to write a simphony. I can’t stop drawing lately and every time I look at an old piece of art that I’ve done I feel I need to change it or somehow improve it."

Love your gryphons. Yes, the highlights are excellent! I think this picture would benefit with more black values to help with contrast. Keep up the good work!

I like the glowing quality to the reflection on the griffon’s feathers. Maybe tone down the eagle/hawk legs and keep the feathery parts of him just the way they are.
By the way, a large glowing full moon in the background would make this piece pop out... Not that you have to put a moon... Hehe. Anyhow... I love the pose too, makes him/ her seem quite mighty.7
And what’s that white thing at the bottom? Sorry just had to ask... It’s quite visible but the closest thing that I can think of it being is a patch of fur?
