Joshua Steven Mersereau

Joshua My name is Joshua Mersereau. I grew up and am living in Peterborough Ontario Canada. My parents became divorced when I was 8 and I've lived with my Mom until I was 19. Now I am a construction laborer and breed reptiles on the side. I am 22 years old. I love lots of detail in my artwork. I am a born again believer. I love my family and all of my friends and thank the Lord every day for blessing me with them. My biggest influences as far as art goes are my Mom and Robert Bateman.

I like animals and I love art. Any medium. I hope to maybe go to collage or university for concept or graphic art.

Interests
I love animals, especially reptiles. I have had a passion for them and art for as long as I can remember, so I decided to blend the two and it's usually worked out for me. I am a percussionist and I love the art of illusion. I like sketching and acrylic for the most part as far as art goes. I love outdoor sports such as rock climbing, white water kayaking, camping, beach volleyball, swimming, ect.. I also love movies and movie soundtracks.

Favorite Fantasy/Scifi Movies and TV Shows
I like the chronicles of narnia The lion the witch and the wardrobe (the newest one)

Favorite Fantasy/Scifi Books
I like the redwall series aswell as the chronicles of narnia series.

Favorite Music
Anything thats good for its genre and has good lyrics.

Good things: -The Dark Crystal and "Who Framed Roger Rabbit on DVD" and....that’s really it I also got a huge box-set of these old, black and white comedy movies...9 discs...and they are so BORING, I could not even finish the 1st one, they are that bad....and nothing else except a text book on physics () and some cheap shampoo Joshua Steven Mersereau replies: "Bummer, that’s not cool. This makes me realize that I really need to learn to use Photoshop! Joshua Steven Mersereau replies: "The way I learned is I started messing around with it one day. After I got the hang of the program (generally speaking) I started going going to chapters and reading photoshop tutorials and advanced techniques for graphic design and photo manipulation aswell as Digital Painting."
