Tag As FavoriteComment		This is a close up of the Cheshire cat that belongs to the Wonderland Asylum shadowbox.  He is very soft and pettible, despite his creepy appearance.  Check out all the detail in this 1.5 inch high sculpt....He even has whiskers.

This is amazing! They’re doing a live action Alice (so I hear). They could totally use this as a model for the Cheshire Cat! Freakin’ Awesome!!!

First I want to say that I find your work very very impressive and i really admire you. I guess it`s not so easy to do small and beautiful things like those.
There is something else - I know it might be a bit late but I really really need one of these cats. I know someone who really loves the Cheshire cat and would be so happy if he gets this for his birthday. . .
So is there any way I can get it?

Often I have seen a cat without a grin- but never a grin without a cat! Simply wonderful! the detail ,defies belief, and the feel is exactly right for the Cheshire cat. Tenniel would have been proud of this, I am sure. BTW< you can download the original Tenniel illustrations free from "Project Gutenberg.com,’- wonderful collection of classic books, though few illustrations, the ones from "Alice "being an exception.
