20 Feb 2003	Kathy Rogers	Loading... This is a lovely drawing. This dryad reminds me of Venus with her demure pose and flowing hair. The colors are soft and the delicate vine work is a nice touch! Heather ´Pixy´ Lynn replies: "I'm glad you like her. I drew her several years ago, and now that I look at her, I see so many things I could have done differently. Maybe I will faeture a revamped version of her in another drawing. Any suggestions?"
27 Aug 2004	Leah Coghill	Loading... Ah, I adore her feet! They really look like roots, just fabulous. If you're thinking of revamping it, I'd personally look at a real woman's anatomy. Your dryad's breasts and shoulders look a tad unrealistic to my eye -- but everything else is great. Her hair draws the eye too, she's quite elegant. Good work! I have to take the advice someone gave me to make this into a sculpture. I think that would be fun! I love drawing hair. It's one of my favorite things to draw, besides eyes. And swirlies."
