Just what the heck is going on here, anyway?

Remember that scene from the original "Star Wars" flick? No, not the one with JarJar and "Annie", and I refuse to call the first one "A New Hope" or "Episode Four." Old-school, I am. :P

Anyway . . . Obi-Wan is teaching Luke about the Force while Millenium Falcon is in transit from Tatooine to Alderaan? Luke whines, "With the blast shield down, I can't see a thing!"

What would the Sith do in a similar situation? (Oh, and the master Sith Lord happened to take over the Coruscant Crimson Crayfish after the Mon-Cal Sith wreaked havoc here (this is some time before the new pic!): http://elftown.lysator.liu.se/stuff/11046_StarWarsParodyColor.jpg

(Let's just say crustaceans, even sentient humanoid crustaceans like the Mon Calamari, don't fare very well against fire, even anthro-dragon fire breath-weapon. They taste good with butter and lemon, though. Pauly the Anthro-Dragon didn't need his innate, weekends/holidays-only Force power to defeat the Mon-Cal Sith. Subsequently, he got the attention of both Darth Vader and Emperor Palpatine, who left the newly rechristened Darth Paranoia alone provided he gave stormtroopers 50% discounts on their meals at the Crimson Crayfish :P

I totally messed up his glove . . . then I had an idea. Why did Michael Jackson always wear that one, stupid glove? So I gave Darth Paranoia AKA Pauly the Anthro-Dragon a fake glove he wears on his clenched fist (fist goes around a bar where he makes the fake extension do all kinds of stuff. Let's just say you don't want to chop off the extension with a lightsaber :P

I tried to give Darth Pink ([pnelma tirian] from Elftown's character) some variety without making her as outlandishly scary as the famous Sith Witch. http://home.triad.rr.com/capraindexhome/sith_witch.jpg

This time, I think the coloring helped, even if they are at the Minute Maid Orange Juice Factory From Hell (or wherever). I just thought a background would make this pic way too cluttered for its own good, and black or red as a background for Sith (even Sith parodies) is too much of a cliche anymore.

The full story behind this picture, of course, is on the exported Elftown wiki, Darth Paranoia. Pauly the Anthro-Dragon only has red horns (a sticky red peel-on sheet whose texture and consistency is not much different than Fruit Roll Ups) and red eyes (contact lenses!) when he's in Darth Paranoia mode.

Exported wiki-link (very much under-construction):

Please note these are not characters copyright to Lucasfilm!

(Edit: however . . . these are characters set in George Lucas' "Star Wars" universe, using Lucas terminology like "Sith" and "Darth" and "lightsaber." ---Pauly, 16 February 2006)

Darth Pink character is (c) 2005-06 Sasha Alexandra Reneau, design by Paul J. Doyle

(Edit: I made a mistake. So I have moved this picture from the F/SF section to the FanQuarter! ---Pauly, 16 Feb 2006)

Maybe the top could use less of an explanation and I might be able to make sense of it all. Great drawing, makes no sense unless you can shorten it all up a little at the top. nut fine just the way it is.
