No drugs or illegal mind-altering substances were involved here. After six months the Japanese monster movie parody is done being inked. Just like that last novel illustration I had up ("Attempted Assassination"), I nearly abandoned it because of numerous errors. But I said, "Dammit, Pauly, get it done, already." So I did. :P

This is the last time for the forseeable future that I'll color in this grotesquely vivid, subtle-as-a-firecracker-going-off-in-an-abandoned-warehouse style. But remember . . . this picture is SUPPOSED to be a horror :PPP

Though the movie kinda stunk to high heaven, I very much liked the "new" Godzilla creature design, even though this Godzilla in Name Only seemed to be lacking the personality of the guy in the rubber suit.

Apparently, "Godzilla: The Animated Series" (starring GINO) was better than the movie itself.

"Pandilla" came to being a few years ago in an AOL chat room, of all places, when I first got my PC and before I discovered places like Elfwood, Elftown and LiveJournal. There was some Latino user going by the name Pandilla Gonzalez13426376 (or some other string of number). Anyhow, I made a little joke about Pandilla being a Japanese monster destroying Tokyo, and it sort of brought down the chat room.

Shortly thereafter, my computer was hacked through some other AOL chat room, and beween that and the number of ASL-seeking kids and weirdoes, I got the hell out of there and never went back.

"GINO" (Godzilla in Name Only)/American Godzilla is from bad 1998 Godzilla flick starring Matthew Broderick, a bad French guy stereotype,  and a reptilian beast whose legs apparently belonged to some sexy Victoria's Secret model. Movie is (c)Tri-Star Pictures, and the Godzilla name (no matter what 'Zilla looks like) is most definitely (c) Toho.

"Pandilla" is public domain, and a common Hispanic nickname.

"Pandilla the Space Panda", on the other hand, is (c)2005-06 to yours truly, Paul J. Doyle.
