This is a part of a comic sketch I did years ago with ballpoint pen on paper.

Ooooh, I like this one!! Hmmm..I would ask 'What the heck is it?', but then I look at the title and... ^_^

Those eyes are quite an art. It really takes alot of imagination and creativity to make up something like that, I wondered if it was only the comic book that inspired you or was it some kind of a scary dream. Those profiles in the back are cool too.

This picture reminds me the unique great art of Philippe Caza. I mean this as very positive. Personally I love it.

i love this so much! her personality is great. i really like the way you structured her face - very beautiful and interesting - and i love her lips, by the way!

Looks like something from either A}a nightmare or B}a star trek/Babylon 5/spacey type show. Kind of interesting how it looks a lot different from your other stuff....

:-) Paula Alavesa replies: "This is one of the first and oldest pictures I placed to be seen in Elfwood. That´s why it might look so different from all the other work and also this was ment to be a part of a bigger comic project that never got further than one page. I still do dabbles and ink sketches with this style though, maybe some day I even continue the story she is a part of. "

Awsome! It reminds me of a dream I had once. The lady you banned down on paper, is no other than the mater suspiriorum, our Lady of Sighs.
great, really great, even has the same look *shiver*

1: the Eyes -she's looking behind her as if afraid she's being followed
2: her mouth/lips -she's independent, a touch arrogant, but still vulnerable
3: the headgear -is that a replacement for her hair or is it just a covering (like a hat?)
4: the heaviness of the lines seems to emphasise her existence.

very expressive. i like the feel she's giving. it's as if she's scared of something -and she seems not to like that fear.
