The colours are great. Anna Elissa replies: "Oh yes, it WAS fun! That is one reason why I love watercolour so much! Thank you so much! I'm heading now to your gallery now."

Interesting how the sky has kind of a turquois hue. Anna Elissa replies: "Well, there's no particular story behind the painting. However, my friend who requested it, said that it is about a person who changes side, from good to bad, from obedience to rebellion... You mention it. And that's all I think. The sun symbol on the angel's shoulder means nothing, I did it without purpose. The triangle is the symbol of the earth (as the opposite of the sky, where angels should normally be in). The little symbols on the edge of his clothes are random Theban characters used in angelic language... or so my "Book of Angels" says."

This new year art has so many symbolic shapes, even the sun (even you said it has nothing to do with anything, one still can imagine something). I LOVE the background! You really brought out the potential on watercolor. Anyway, since your picture is rather small, I am wondering what are those two creatures below his feet? They are like Capricorn. I do have one suggestion though, the broken left arm needs a bit more work, a bit muscle and blood maybe while the upper body is well drawn and colored, don't mind if you add more abs muscle (seperti di iklan L-Men hehehe). Can't wait to see your upcoming art. Anna Elissa replies: "Well, you see... the thing is, I don't really favour muscly men when it comes to art... Kelihatannya kok kurang halus, gitu. And as you might've noticed, I didn't give a six-pack belly for the angel. Instead, I made it medium-sized. But I see nothing bad in your suggestion, so why not? I'll try to apply it some other time when I get to draw a man again. Anyways, those two creatures are mer-lion and mer-goat (indeed, like Capricorn). Actually, I planned to make a mer-lion, a mer-goat, a mini angel, and an eagle to symbolise the four Gospels (if you're a Christian, you'll know this). But I ran out of space for the mini angel and the eagle, so I left it that way. Thanks for your lovely comment, Shirley! Cheers!"

But I love the shadowy figures on the bottom, he's not my kinda image of fallen, kinda hunky, mine normally go mad... Lol, his fingers are a lil wonky but the love the chain thing on his wing and his whicked hairdo!
