"´04 Sea Unicorn" by Polenth Blake

	This is my version of a sea unicorn. The body was based on pipefish (relatives of the seahorse). I was aiming for something that looked more like a real sea-creature, and less like a horse with a fish tail attached. [2004 - Ink, Pencils]

4 Mar 2004	Astri Snodgrass	Loading... I'm very impressed by this picture, especially the background. It gets pretty annoying with how many people won't draw pictures with backgrounds. I like the contrasting orange/blue combination. The creature looks rather awkward, I must say. Very crooked and not very elegant (shape-wise). That's really the only thing that I can criticize about this picture. Very nicely done! Polenth Blake replies: "I think you're right about the shape. The original pencil sketch was more wavy, but I didn't manage to ink it that way."

I believe this pic is my favorite (not counting the snail wizard, of course). You have every right to be as proud as peaches about this one.
