Zezzyanava smiles: Wait, don't fear me, please. I am not like other driders. Ah, you noticed how I am not deformed and bloated as other driders? That is through the kindness of Eilistraee! After my change she sent her voice into the material plane to aid me. She was unable to undo the curse of her mother Lolth, but she was able to ease it, making me more whole, and removing the need for blood. (Although I do enjoy the occational bit that I buy from the local butcher.)

I love Zezz. She was an encounter in a game with Mi'Ri'Lil.. a drow raiding party where the party whooped thier butts, the whole time my priestess telling them to please stop fighting.
Zezz took the priestess's hand as she offered her help up after the melee, for she had seen the dances of this surface reigion on a previous occation, and had already thought about moving to the surface.
Sadly, that was her test from Lolth, to see if she remained loyal or not. She failed. The punishment is the change into a drider.
After the change Eilistraee's voice was heard as a silvery light surrounded her. Her curse was eased. She is now finally chaotic good, and very devoted to Eilistraee. She spends her time trying to convert driders, to give them a place where they are accepted. Eilistraee rewards those driders who accept her the same way she rewarded Zezzyanava.

(yes I know, long story.. it's neat though isn't it?)

I am NOT a fan of spiders but she is wonderful. I love all your art. Is it true you do work for Neopets? Many "wow's" on that. Krista A. 26 Dec 2005	Mindsend Storyweaver the Elf	Loading... I've never stuck with what D&D said about driders either. Heck, I look at what they say and LAUGH cause its infantile most of the time. For a culture that worships Spiders, becoming a Drider would be a BLESSING, not a curse! XD So that Nova guy needs to loosen up a bit and accept everyone has ideas different then D&D. Now, to the picture. <3 She is definately a pretty Drider. And I love the thought you put into it.
