| 3 Oct 2002 | Poul Anderson | AAAR man that was a cool film.
Akira, Ghost in the Shell. Both fine pieces of manga. I can't get over the detail, so much of it. How many man-hours goes into that stuff?
Got any other suggestions for other good manga films?
Recently read both of Pratchets first diskworld boks, its like hitch hikers guide to the galaxy in a fantasy based world with jokes coming from a different spectrum. Probably Octorine (spelt wrong most likely) in colour.
Sometime, I have to do a picture novel, some time. when i don't know, maybe in 50 years?
| 10 Oct 2002 | Brendon Lindsey | Like the drawings. If you ever want to draw the main picture for some stories let me know As for anime films, I'd have to reccomend: Spriggan (one of the best anime movies EVER, the guys from Akira and G.i.t.S made it) Kenshin and I'm getting the series of Final Fantasy Unlimited right now, that's really good. | |
| 8 Jun 2003 | Wildflower | This has nothing to do with your art, and you've probably heard this before, but i simply must point out that you share your name with one of the original great scifi/fantasy writers. I highly recommend his novels and short stories to all lovers of fantasy/scifi. Every bit as good as ellison, mcafrey, asimov and other prominent names of the genre. As for your art, keep up the good work. You do the name justice. | |
| 12 Jun 2003 | JSK Chang | Mr. Anderson... hehehe

| 17 Aug 2003 | Frane petar rismondo | Please dont kill me if i take your pics and give them away....What sure wont hapen cause your rules suck...Alll pictures on elfwood are copyrighted(stands below the picture) so there is no need to rub it in someones face....Rules bah! Poul Anderson replies: "Ok, thankyou frane petar rismondo I did not notice that a copyright appeard under all pictures and I am sorry that you took offence to me placing a copyright on the front of my elfwood page. I'v changed my front page now, and see that it is protected by elfwoods copyright. please accept my apologies>>Poul" | |
| 6 Jan 2006 | Ogre4Hire | Nice dragons you've got.
BTW if you like Ghost in the Shell, you should check out G.I.S.T. Stand Alone Complex, the TV series version. The first season is out on DVD, and Disks one and two from the second season are also out.
Appleseed is another good movie, it's from the same guy who did Ghost.
