SciFi & Fantasy Artwork by Alex Pribnow

Alex Born in Liverpool, England, in 1979 to a family of luthiers, I began life with a love for art, and would sit drawing silly faces for hours on end at the age of one. My fascination with myths, fables and fairy-stories began the day I first learned how to operate a book. My favourite of these would be Aesop's Androcles and the Lion, and Hans Christian Andersen's The Emperor's New Clothes, which ring so true! For me, painting mythology and fairytales isn't just a labour of love, but a way to keep them alive. What do I try to achieve with my art? Quite simply, for my audience to enjoy looking at it! When I work on a painting, no matter what the subject, I imagine I'm cooking a "visual feast" for the audience - something they can sink their eyes into. I now live happily ever after in the heart of England, spending my days illustrating for books or painting in my studio. In 2008, I founded the "Malice in Underland" brand workshop to design and create fairytale-only art and collectibles purchaseable by fans of fantasy all over the world.

They are titled Trail of Hope and Barroom Brawl, both are tagged on the wyvern’s library main page. If you can please check them out and tell me what you think I would really appreciate it.
