Of course, leaving it with light detail is fine, but I think the more shading you add the better your art will be. Try "Crosshatching" with your pencil and then rubbing it with your finger to blend it together, that will make it easier to shade and look better than just outlining the muscles.  good luck, and keep it up!!! I use it in small drawings but the bigger they get the worse I get trying to finish details. I put up my newest most complicated wolf sketch I really lavished the shadding. It's called WOLF WRITE 2.
