I haven’t been on Elfwood for a while. Thank you for your comments. I was reading the one from JoJo Thomason, and though they were giving productive criticism, I think it wasn’t the best. Don’t let anyone tell you your art isn’t good, or it’s not well. Even if they are trying to help. Art isn’t about someone else’s idea of good or bad. It’s your own perspective on the world, and what comes from your imagination. You can take ’advice’ on how to study other forms or techniques to improve your personal style; but I would say go with the one that are comfortable and dabble in discovering your own techniques. Art should be your own, like a signature. It shouldn’t really look like everyone else’s work. If I were to give you any advice myself it would be to copy photos of animals, people, books, everything..... LOL! So this way when you draw something, you know the structure and shapes they should be. (Not that you don’t do a good job already!) This way if you want to make them realistic you can. Or if you want to go for something more abstract, you still understand the principals of muscle structure and all that jazz to know how far to go with your art. This is what I did anyway, and it helped me and my hands put what I was thinking onto paper! Hope this helps you some. And can’t wait to see more work from you soon!

:-) Cilissa Harris replies: "thank u for ur kind thoughts. i loved thm"
