| 18 Dec 2001 | Adgee Harville | Loading...Is it El-ahrairah or The Black Rabbit of Fu Inlé? Or perhaps a mixture? I absolutely adore Watership Down, and soon enough a few pictures inspired by the book should be up in my gallery (that is, when they start letting us upload again). Anyway, I just wanted to commend you on doing such a good job of portraying the strong emotions of Watership Down. . Such a wonderful book. . ^_^ | |

| 24 Sep 2002 | Laura | Loading...It seems clear to me that this is the reflection in El-ahrairah's eye of Hazel leaving his body behind to join the Owsla of the Black Rabbit of Inle, "..when in a single powerful leap, Hazel slipped away, running easily down through the wood, where the first primroses were beginning to bloom."
It's a soothing haunting piece of art which stirs a mixture of emotions... beautiful. I love it. | |
