"Samus Aran" by Stefanie L. Rider

Wow, great job on her boots! Samus is one of the few video game characters who actually has cool shoes.
Oh, about the Metroid NES: I never owned an NES (I'm too young... heehee) but I was downloading old NES games from the internet onto my computer recently, and the first was Metroid. It was awesome... but I never got past the first few minutes of it. (Gahhh. Wait... is this a relevant comment? Guess not.)
You did a great job with her suit in pencil- everything's very clear cut, which fits Samus well. If you do color it, it'd be cool if you could do it in say, Photoshop...

(Oh... and I read how you got confused because Samus has blonde hair in Metroid IV and green hair in Metroid. Well... in Metroid Prime... ::ahem:

Stefanie L. Rider replies: "i totally sympathize in not getting far on the original metroid. i've always been horrible at it. and when i get around to coloring her, she'll be done in photoshop. ^_^"

Wow! You did a really good job on her suit! And yes, you did spell her name right.

Samus Aran is off the hook! She kicks some major-you know-what. Really good drawing. Yous hould think about coloring it. Or keep this one the same. Do another one of this pictures just color it instead!!

Stefanie L. Rider replies: "yeeah, i know. "color color color color!!" she'll be a fun one to color, with all those nasty lines... i'll get to it, though."

Oof, that face... doesn't look like Samus when she takes off her hemlet in Metroid prime, although it does in fusion.

Stefanie L. Rider replies: "um, this drawing is not based off of metroid prime... i used the armor design because there aren't many good pics of the old one. this drawing was inspired by the original metroid."

I think it would be so much better (and more real)if the gun was longer!

I am a huge fan of metroid prime and your picture tottaly rocks!the only people I think could draw the varia suit that good is the artist who created that and you!

awww . . .She's adorable! Hard to imagine that sweet face surgically attached to the most powerful battlesuit in the galaxy, with an arm cannon powerful enough to destroy entire planets.
Good work, I can't find any flaws with this picture. Her face, her hair, her suit, it's all awesome!
