Commissioned piece of a personal avatar.  No, it isn't furry Jesus.

I like the wings too, for me hair and feathurs are terrible,
scales and skin are easier.

Jesus?! The wings are just fantastic, great detail! The idea is... well, imaginative, pity it wasn’t yours. The overall effect is astonishing!
I would like to make some contrutive criticism instead of just saying how great it is, but the only thing that crosses my mind is: if he is supposed to be who I think he should also have wounds on the feet. But that is probabily what your friend asked...

Well, he has marks on the wrists that could be scars, and INRI written on the forehead... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/INRI
So yeah, points to Jesus, or at least an angel very connected with Him...
But I’m probably misreading something.
Still think it’s a great work though.
