| 29 Jun 2009 | Orchay Naeh | Loading...great picture i like the fact you can save the facial detail in changing angels (i hope its writen like that my english spelling some times are to bad to understand) Trish Harold replies: "Thank you very much! I actually practiced the poses in the mirror. Since I’m a women an dthese are both men, I had to ask my husband to model a bit for me too!" | |
| 29 Jun 2009 | Johanna Brate | Loading...I really like the setting and atmosphere. And you can draw men. In profile! Haha, I couldn’t do that to save my life! Trish Harold replies: "Thank you !
It does take practice and trial and error. I am getting used to drawing Martin in profile more now. He’s the one standing. This is the first time I’ve actually drawn Edelrunn, one of the wizards in the story. He’s supposed to be in his 60’s, so he didn’t turn out too bad." | |
| 30 Jun 2009 | Jack Lamothe | Loading...hey I used to love indoor fantasy themes, what with the wood and doodads and epic beginnings and all. good work Trish Harold replies: "Thank you very much. I really appreciate it!Thank you so much for taking the time to look!" | |
| 23 Aug 2009 | John R Farley Jr | Loading...The profiles are pretty good. I like the sense that there is something going on here, and that makes the whole picture interesting to look at. You want to hear what they’re saying. Trish Harold replies: "Thank you very much John. Actually if you really heard what is going on, you’d know that Martin isn’t very happy about the whole thing. He’s learned stuff about the past that he didn’t know about and being recruited rather forcibly to go on the mission, he can’t say final goodbyes to anyone he cares about. But don’t worry, he’s done all his cursing beforehand." | |
| 25 Aug 2009 | Shanny Moon | Loading...No pressure!! Trish Harold replies: "Ha ha! This whold quest is "No pressure." My main character doesn’t get a full night’s sleep fpr over 72 hours." | |
| 30 Aug 2009 | Lex Gurst | Loading...The wall sconces and small, sundry items on the table are a nice touch of detail! Trish Harold replies: "Thank you Lex. I actually have to reload this one. I used smudging pencils in the redone drawing...and the far flame on the right looks less like a garlic bulb! Thank you very much for your comment!" | |
| 25 Oct 2009 | Frances Monro | Loading...Nice use of light and shade. A course of life drawing might help with drawing profiles and humans. Trish Harold replies: "Thank you Frances. I actually fixed this up, but have yet to upload the other version of it (procrastination...). I am learning from a book on figure drawing, and it is helping. So that’s a plus. Thank you for stopping by and commenting.I really appreciate it." | |
