I'm a closet fantasy writer and endeavouring to get back into drawing after a very long absense.Many of the drawings that will be posted here have to do with a current story that is aiming to be published at the end of two years (or less).

For my day job, I am the owner of an online boutique called Hound and Handbag Gift Company www.houndandhandbag.com. The boutique celebrates dachshunds and the ladies who love them. Wiener dogs and accessories are like chips;you can't stop at one. I'm also a florist, gift basket creator and a hopeless purseaholic.

I'm married to a wonderful man who puts up with my creative messes and stops me from getting dramatic.

Interests
I collect purses, wiener dog items.and Japanese stationery. I love to sew,rollerblade, read,draw. Currently I'm working on a fantasy story that has been with me since high school (egad...) I also seem to have an affinity for round objects (marbles,pebbles etc.) And things that are both round and cute. For example:My profile picture is a character from the Japanese cartoon Kogepan. Kogepan is a burnt little bun who hangs out in a Japanese bakery.He got stuck in the oven for 30 minutes and therefore,he can't be sold.Sumipan (pictured here) was stuck in the oven for 3 hours. I think someone needs to talk with that baker. I also like the characters Mikan Bouya and Sabo Kappa by San-X. Why? Because they are round and cute.

It is all over the news here in Canada and my mom who is an registered nurse is so disgusted how the media handled it,blowing facts out of proportion. Anyhow, if you are healthy and have a strong immune system, you are not at risk as much as someone who does not. Think of it as a really bad cold."

:-) Trish Harold replies: "A friend of mine and her hubby and babay but they are all fine,because they kept themselves form work and were able to recover.
I work with a girl who is roomates with someone who has it;but because theyare students, they figure they cannot miss classes so they go out,get sicker and never give themselves a chance to get better. Argh."
