'In the middle of the table, against the woven cloths upon the wall, there was a chair under a canopy, and there sat a lady fair to look upon, and so like was she in form of womanhood to Elrond that Frodo guessed that she was one of those close kindred. Young she was and yet not so. The braids of her dark hair were touched by no frost, her white arms and clear face were flawless and smooth, and the light of stars was in her bright eyes, grey as a cloudless night; yet queenly she looked, and thought and knowledge were in her glance, as of one who has known many things that the years bring. Above her brow her head was covered with a cap of silver lace netted with small gems, glittering white; but her soft grey raiment had no ornament save a girdle of leaves wrought in silver.
So it was that Frodo saw her whom few mortals had yet seen; Arwen, daughter of Elrond, in whom it was said that the likeness of Lúthien had come on earth again; and she was called Undómiel, for she was the Evenstar of her people.

I like the medieval look. She reminds me of the Virgin Mary.I guess that comparison shouldn't be too far off, in many ways...

Fabulous! Really reminds of the Pre-Raphaelite work, by Rossetti etc, that's actually what I thought you were going for at first ^^
Either way, it's one of the most intriguing pictures I've seen. Keep up the great work!!

I am very sorry for my rude comments above. They were uncalled for, and I should find a better way to express my opinions.

(Okay, so this is not Bob the Bastard, it's Kayla, but I thought you deserved an apology for those rude comments... so just pretend this is him!10)

Well, she is indeed a very beautiful woman. I can fully understand why you got a mod for her, the colours and the detail are fabulous. Yet, she doesn't look at all like I would picture Arwen... (now of course, no two people in the world would picture her the same way, but anyway...) The only thing I really think you succeeded in is portraying this quota from the book: "Young she was and yet not so." But then again, you have done a very nice piece of work. Keep it up 12

she does indeed bring to mind the medevial style madonnas... I really enjoy seeing someone's unique vision of characters found and books.. a person's imaginaion is a boundless thing andwe all have our very own unique interpretations of the characters we read about in books... (for example.. before saw the Harry Potter movies, I pictured him more like a young MacGyver(Richard Dean Anderson ROCKS!!) anyway... this is quite lovely and well done and you have really shown her mysterious qualities... like she hides the secrets of her world. 2

I like it, very nice, although I pictured her quite differently. But I guess that would be probable, so your picture is very nice. You did a nice job of making her look regal.
