I LOVE ALL YOUR WORK!Thank you very much. I'm glad you like my portrayals more than those of the films. But out of these two, I fear it was Faramir, rather than Boromir, who was the unfortunate one!

I love the mood you've created with the colors, and the expression faramir's giving...With the out'stretched arm and the sorrow in his face. And i like how you put boromir in the foreground...I hadn't thought to do that...Very original! (p.S., the sky is exquisite! Beautiful colors!)Thank you very much indeed. I think I chose to put Boromir in the foreground simply because of my love for the character. Therefore, it was the natural thing to do .

You portrayed it exactly as I imagined down down to the last detail, even the expression on Faramir's face. These are two of my all time favorite Tolkien characters. Thank you for all the amazing work. And thank you for the wonderful comment. These two are also very, very high on my 'favourites list' so to speak, with possibly Boromir being slightly ahead of his younger brother.
| 6 Feb 2004 | Cirdan | Loading...Arguably the best of all of the works of yours which I have seen. Such a wonderfully deep and moving picture as this just makes me drool. Tolkien would have been very proud. Awesome work! What a compliment! Thank you so much. | |

| 7 Jun 2005 | Nenya | Loading...OMG!!! This pic caches you by the firs look and then you're stuck forever. I really love the sorrow this image express, the dead trees, the clouds, the moon, it all adds on to that feel. It's like you can hear Faramir wondering if he can touch his beloved brother,if it's real or if it will turn out to be some cruel dream. Lot of cred to you for not doing the to often seen movie based charachters. (not that i don't like the movie but there's something special about the "real" stuff. =)Thanks a lot for the comment. I agree, it's very much the stirring of the imagination which is so special when it comes to the book, and seeing the many different versions of Tolkien's characters is what I enjoy most about Tolkien art. If I wanted to see the movie-characters, I can just watch the film or look at stills from the movie itself. I've never really enjoyed those who choose to duplicate PJ's interpretation. What about your own interpretation? | |

| 14 Nov 2005 | Neon Pegasus | Loading...This picture is so touching....I particularly love the sky, Faramir's hands and their posture and Boromir's face is so pale. Excellent...To hear that a painting of mine is 'touching' can never be a bad thing. Thank you very much. | |
| 3 Apr 2007 | Celebne | Loading...Well drawn. Impressing scene. But I do not believe, that Faramir in the books was shorthaired and beardless. Even your Aragorn has stubbles. Your Faramir looks too similar to the Eißmann Faramir. You should give to him an own touch. But your Boromir is great: so I imagine Boromir in the books: noble and goodlooking. | |
