| 8 Oct 2005 | Ragnhild Leivsdotter Rossehaug | Loading...This is simply fantastic! The concern of the twins is amazing, and Celebrían's expression is stunning. The wounds she got were severe and even though she has been rescued, Middle Earth holds nothing for her anymore. It's such a sad story. Great work! You're right, it really is quite a sad tale, even if it's only mentioned on a small scale. And thank you too for the comment! | |
| 12 Oct 2005 | Kalen | Loading...I'd have to agree that Celebrian does look a little masculine; her neck is rather thick - but other than that it is a FABULOUS composition. The lighting and the expressions capture the desperation of the scene and the color is beautiful. Well done.Perhaps her neck is a little too thick, but I wanted her to have very strong features, hinting at her ancestry. Anyway, thank you very much for the comment nonetheless . | |

| 24 Jul 2006 | Ekobean | Loading...It's been a while since I've looked at this gallery, and every time I do I see so much improvement and added emotion, it's astounding. I love everything about your stile, Mr. Price. You put so much care and dedication into your work - they are thick with emotion and movement. The color tone and palette, the structure, everything leads back to the emotion between Celebrian and Elrond, or at least I'm guessing that is who the male is. I am and alway have been a fan of your work, please continue.Ah, Ekobean. I haven't forgotten the support you've shown me and my work over the years, thank you so much for popping back and leaving a warm, vintage comment! The two male elves are actually the Sons of Elrond, but close enough! | |
| 4 Aug 2006 | Just another comment | Loading...Alas, such a sorrowful death, but at least she was able to look upon those that cared for her before she took her last breath. Still, 'tis sad. Excellent job on this and many other pieces of yours. You have a nice knack for capturing vivid expressions and details. But thankfully she survives this, though the sorrow isn't any less. Growing weary of Middle-eath she departs for the Undying Lands and leaves her husband and children behind. Such was the poison of her wound. Thanks very much! | |
| 28 Apr 2007 | Dindae | Loading...I love your style, and I think your rendition of this scene is utterly gorgeous. I particularly love the way the twins look, both artistically and in the feeling they give off, you can almost taste the urgency, sorrow, fear, etc.(I hope that makes sense) Anyhow, I love this | |
