'Fair as an Elf-child is Lalaith', said Húrin to Morwen; 'but briefer, alas! And so fairer, maybe, or dearer.' And Túrin hearing these words pondered them, but could not understand them. For he had seen no Elf-children. None of the Eldar at that time dwelt in his father's lands, and once only had he seen them, when King Fingon and many of his lords had ridden through Dor-lómin and passed over the bridge of Nen Lalaith, glittering in silver and white.'

*first comment dance* I cannot believe it!
You are probably the first artist to paint this scene. Reminds me on some middle-age art, for its composition and for the bridge. Maybe Brueghel? I don't know. Nice idea. I see I should start to paint my own Tolkien-inspired pictures... Somebody has written in the comment for Tuor with Easterlings' dogs, that your art reminds him/her on Jenny Dolfen. But it reminds me even more on Anke Eissmann, probably because of the colours used. I love her art, so this is a compliment. To be likened to either Dolfen or Eissmann is a great compliment to me, so I don't mind either way. As for myself, I've always seen slightly stronger similarities between Anke's work and mine, but like I say it doesn't really matter. Thanks a lot for the comment.
