Christine N. Colvin 'Zombie Queen' is a mommy that tries desperately to draw when her son let's her have a spare moment to herself . . . and it doesn't happen all that often ;)
Ok, the pic i want is not to hard i hope lol it's a girl quite tall with very long black hair and natural blue high lights very deep red lips a pretty face baby blue eyes tanned skin(like you get from being on holiday, not natural)slim, and busty,is that ok or too much?
Your work is very nice. Although I do have one criticism, I've noticed some of your comments on the moderators choices seem to be a little harsh, and some of them unfounded.
On a recent picture you commented on ''logic dictating'' that the face be the same skin tone as her shoulder, in not actually looking at the picture you overlooked the fact it was clothing rather than the artists error. Christine N. Colvin 'Zombie Queen' replies: "I am neither harsh nor unfounded when I comment. Perhaps I do not broach the right questions, but when it comes to art, everything is subjective. I overlooked the idea that the shoulder might be clothed, but the artist is the only one that can really confirm or deny what is and isn't there. So, I wait for their response after commenting. As for harshness: no creator will ever learn or grow if all they hear is mindless praise without having flaws pointed out. I couch all my critiques with an equal amount of praise, as they deserve it. If you don't like the way I critique, then kindly ignore it, as it's not going to change. I expect nothing but brutal honesty from those that comment on my work and will give in kind, so that others may also grow and learn as I do from constructive criticism. And trust me, artist do make mistakes. I do all the time. "
You have a wonderful gallery here, and what's more is that being a mother you don't have time to devote all your energies to it. That just shows how talented you are, hopefully when your child is a little older you can get fully involved back into your art. Christine N. Colvin 'Zombie Queen' replies: "Actually, I just started going back to school, to do just that! Make people take me more seriously, while doing the same damn thing I do now . . . lol. Thanks so much "
Hey Christine ^^ I'm here for very selfish reasons, but I promise I'll browse your gallery again soon. I was so impressed by your suggestions given to me about a particular picture that I had drawn, I tried to incorporate them all into the revised version. Sooooo, I was hoping you would be so kind as to check out the revised version of Talia up in my gallery and give me your two bits. I sure would appreciate it!! Thanks ^.^ Christine N. Colvin 'Zombie Queen' replies: "Wow . . . hey, sure thing! Always happy to help! lol"
Ah , yes of course! You were the one with the fruit salad ladies! I'll be back whenever you update! TTFN Christine N. Colvin 'Zombie Queen' replies: "Well, I just finished a new picture, and once I get it scanned in, I'm gonna play with it on my buddy's new Wacom tablet and see if I can't add the digital effects that I want, and then . . . I'll upload it as soon as I can! So, check back in about 2-3 weeks lol"
Sheesh! Am I slow, or what? I did say I was going to comment on your gallery, and woo. Did I actually comment on anything there? Not sure, I respond to so many comments. I will go traipsing through and have a looksee (or another looksee as the case might be) and comment again! Bye! Christine N. Colvin 'Zombie Queen' replies: "Yah, I need to start making a spread sheet of how many comments there are, and where, because it takes forever to go through them all looking for new stuff . . . lol"

I liked an old commnet of yours about the complexety of nipples nice information! Christine N. Colvin 'Zombie Queen' replies: "I find it hilarious that people conveniently forget that every body is different and that you never had "uniform" bits and pieces . . . lol Thanks for the sweet comment! "
HMmmm...just tried e-mailing you at the address I had and the mail bounced back. Hopefull you'll get this. If you do, send me an e-mail...I have something for you :] Christine N. Colvin 'Zombie Queen' replies: "Hey chickadee! Well, looks like I need to check this thing more often . . . lol Anyway, it's good to hear from ya!"
Just wanted to let all the artist on this site to be wary of being associated with Carrie Hall. I sent her $ 350 several years ago for an art commission, and haven't got the picture yet. And she refuses to send my payment back to me. Not someone that you should have on Elfwood. Allen Binai Christine N. Colvin 'Zombie Queen' replies: "Considering that no evidence can be presented as to the legitimacy of your claim, I can only go from my own personal dealings with Carrie and take your warning for random spam. My condolences if you honestly have issues with her, but that's between you and her, and unless you can substantiate those claims, it's baseless slander, and I'd be wary of posting it on an open forum. Also . . . my page is NOT a sounding board for your angst. If you have an issue, take it up with the management or a lawyer."
