I'm using this design for my friends' wedding invitation. Their specs were that there be two dragons that were like or were becoming trees, and that I use autumn colors.

Later on, I'm going to do with the dragons what I've done with the rest of the Dance of Balance series - I'm going to cut them out and play with bas relief layering effects and found objects.

Watercolor and Prismacolor pencils. For now.

I’ve never seen this one for some reason. I must have missed it. I love how earthly it appears, with all those wild leaves. Am I spying a certain celtic symbol as backdrop for the dragons?

The interlocked rings are only vaguely Celitic; it wasn’t a specific design theme, though. I just needed that particular range of colors to balance out the dragons and to give the whole image a greater sense of balance and unity."
