SciFi and Fantasy Art Alien vs Predator: Dead Bugs Tell No Tales by Rachael Mayo

These are orignal characters created for the Aliens vs Predator universe, based on the Aliens, Predator and Aliens vs Predator movies and comics.

This picture is a requested pic for DeviantArt buddy Kaze-kuroki. The Predator, Night Blood, is hers. Used with permission.

All I can really say about this one is that I had a lot of fun with it. The color scheme was something of an experiment - I started with a watercolor base of brown and violet, and then built up the valued with Prismacolor pencils, keeping the violet heavily involved in the composition.

And I would just like to point out that, once again, I've managed to avoid a great deal of day-glo colors.
