| 15 Feb 2006 | Jade the Predator | Loading...You mean Conan like Conan the Cimmerian (should spell check that...)? Anyways. Too bloody my [explicit]! This is perfect without showing too much or too little. The colors go together and clash at the same time, but in a good way, I assure you. You can tell they're struggling and not just playing around. I commend thee, as one should *bows respectfully*LOL - Yes, like Conan the Cimmerian. You remember the first movie, yes? The guy that turned into a snake was a Valusian, though I don't think they ever said so. They come in several different forms - varying degrees of snakey-ness - and should not be confused with the generally benevolent East Indian Nagas. The Fire Drake that you see here is a related species, also referenced in the Conan stories, and lifted conceptually for use in this particular Predator legend.
I'm still working on the story itself. I just recently got ahold of some useful "hero quest" analytical data concerning the correlation between the spiritual process of alchemy and the hero's quest, and I think that's what I needed to help me develop a better framework for the story. ^_^

| 20 Feb 2006 | Dachande | Loading...woww, very nice. Who's gonna win this one? Both die. Horribly. But the Predator "wins" by saving his species from enslavement and ultimate destruction by eliminating most of the True Magic from the Predator gene pool. | |
| 19 May 2006 | Rebel_Wulff | Loading...I like this one; I haven't been around your gallery lately but you have added a whole bunch of new stuff. My former alias was "Yeah its me..." I like this one in color, I saw the lineart and I thought that looked cool, its a lot cooler in color. Kepp up the good work! | |
| 4 Jul 2006 | Uno'caro | Loading...can i just say wow.
PS:what do you mean by enslavement?I mean "enslavement" in the most obvious possible way. The Fire Drakes were powerful beyond belief and were able, for a brief time in the Yautja's early history, to control the Yautja and to put 'em to all sorts of horrid uses . As strong as Yautja warriors are, the Fire Drake critters were stronger - AND they were able to use a kind of magic, which is something that the Yautja have always found problematic. (Note that this is RACHAEL'S TAKE ON THE UNIVERSE, not Predator Canon. The comics, novels and movies haven't even touched the concept of Magic as far as Yautja are concerned, so we actually have NO IDEA how well they handle it, or whether or not they have shamans, wizards, etc.)
