This is an original character from the Predator universe, based on the Predator movies and comics.

To distant stars have I traveled in my search for truth, and for justice long-denied. At last, I find myself in a desolate place, one of forgetting, of dying, of dust. There, I discover what Leader meant when he spoke of acceptable losses; there, the bones of my father tell their story. I sit for a long while to listen.

It's strange... I was not in any fit of melancholy when I initially doodled this idea several years ago. Mostly, I wanted to explore a bit of pathos when it came to Predator culture. There isn't much of a story beyond the warrior's initial thoughts; I'm going to leave you all to wonder what brought our intrepid Hunter to this place and time until I manage to create a good, solid story for him.

Ink. And believe it or not, that stipple technique goes pretty quick, but it has to be taken in several short sittings.

YOU SPELL YOUR NAME THE SAME WAY AS MINE! lol Sorry for the caps... I just love you already! lol GORGEOUS piece, by the way. I love the detail and shading. I’ve never been good at landscapes. Kudos. Keep up the great work!

I have to say that landscapes are not my strong suit either. I had to work on this one quite a bit during the pencil stage to get it to read right, then I cross-checked with some photographic references of deserty goodness."

There has been kind of a lull in this little fan niche since the AvP movies, but for some reason a whole BUNCH of us Predator fans have gone back into production just lately! I’m glad to do it; I’ve missed seeing artwork of my favorite space monster."
