SciFi and Fantasy Art Paladin by Rachael Mayo

This is an original character created for the Predator universe, based on the Predator movies and comics.

This is one of those things that I thought would be a quick study, but it wound up being a bit of a marathon. Those individual armor plates took *FOR-EV-ARRRR* to color.

Yes, I said "study". I have mad plans for a sort of St. George and the Dragon with a Predator "knight" and a dragonish Alien. While I may tweak the armor design a bit, this is basically what the knight will look like... Minus the really awkward pose.

Accomplished with ink, watercolor, Prismacolor pencils, and metallic paint pen.
