SciFi and Fantasy Art Imaginos at Weisseria by Rachel M. Donahue (Sheepy)

This picture was inspired by the concept album done by the amazing Blue Oyster Cult - Imaginos. The picyture appeared in myhead the very first time I heard it, and I've finally donesomehting decent with it. I'm still not relaly happy with it though, the horizon lineis horrible, and the oysters could usea bit more work.. I may do a second version of it sometime in the future. Photopaint and tabletty.

31 Jan 2003	Anonymous	Loading... nice work, but i see what you mean about not being fully satisfied with it. it feel like there should be more in it. hidden or visable... (if that makes any sence...) the thing to remember is "Imaginos", is a "random access myth". the story begins and ends in all places and at all times. can you think of a way to reflect that in the art work? keep up the good work.
5 Feb 2005	Fatso	Loading... YES! A BÖC-fan! Imaginos is the best album by The Blue Öyster Cult, no doubt. But don't forget Secret Treaties either. It's good to see someone payingh attention to their work and translating it into glorious art like this!
15 Feb 2006	Joshua Hepler	Loading... ok so one more comment. i got kind of hooked on the imaginos story after i read a number of h.p. lovecraft stories. The correlation between the two is amazing. Coincidence?
