I love it I love it I love it!!!! *puts fangirl-muse back in cupboard* I really love how you did the feathers; they give a lot of motion to the piece and yay you for remembering to put spots on them! And the poem is awesome; I'm assuming you wrote it since there's no other author stated. Reminds me of some of my own writing... The metaphors you used are good, quite unique for the most part, and even the more well-used ones such as crossroads were brought in with minimal cliche, which is very nice. I can't wait to get to your Lothlorien section! Rachel A. *~*Wolf Eyes*~* McCausland replies: "*decides to try and follow comments in order* so this would be the first one, right? *hopes* okay...aw yay! *loves feathers* Yep, poem's mine. I do tend to do borderline cliche, sometimes...*sweatdrop* especially with my stories. But at least I can say that my poems are honest, so the reason it's cliche (if it is) is that I'm just one big cheesecake. *g*"

*loves feathers too* I collect feathers a bit, 'specially black ones, and I sometimes make jewelry from them.
