Reference used, but I didn't like the hands,  and drew them differently. I did, however love the bodice of that outfit and so painted it almost the same. It's like a corset. Her nose seemed too childlike and that was drawn differently, too.

First off: frame. I love the corners and the frame-yness of them. Love how the stars seem to come from them and how they’re drawn. Bit like clouds of stardust falling together to make new stars.

Wings... Wings are absolutely gorgeous. They look so beautifully downy and fluffy and gorgeous. Top of the moon seems a little flat in comparison, though, if you really want a nit, but it’s only a small one. I think I only really noticed because the difference in texture between moon and wings caught my eye so much.

The dress is utterly gorgeous. I like this one better than the reference you used. ^-~ She looks very sweet and innocent. Slightly childlike, but yet not. Timelessly childlike may be a good description.

And the star is gorgeous. *sighs dreamily* Your artwork is so very, very beautiful, Rachael. How long do your pieces generally take you to make? *curious*

:-) Rachael A. Tallamy replies: "What a lovely and wonderful comment. Thank you!!!"
