You know, this may well be one of my favourite examples of contrasting colours done extremely well, even if looking at the details image you’ve linked to makes it really sink in how much has been lost in the resizing. I love the flurry of snow twirling around the fay from the bird’s tail. Winter bird!

I love it’s expression in the detailed version as well. It looks so happy, cheerful and intelligent. ^-^ Beautiful, beautiful image, me dear.
