I personally enjoy drawing my characters aswell. But I tend to color them digitally. Anyways: your picture. The eyes are really pretty. Also, the forehead thing(I want to call them jewels, but I'm not 100% what they are) looks really cool. It adds to the mystery of the mage. Even though it's a character sketch, try and go farther with shading. A little bit of shading can go a long way!  ~Yume  Rae A Anderson replies: "Thank you very much! I think the shading is great and even though it could go farther unless your going for the ultra-realistic look than sometimes its better to just take it easy like this. Either way you decide to do it i think youd do a good job either way. | |
