I was practicing coloring on my Adobe PhotoDeluxe with this rather old picture of an alien woman holding a laser sword. Pretty nifty, huh? I think I'll call her Redd.

Like the colors and the character. Cool pic.

interesting.... The only suggestion I'd make is to enlarge the page a bit, so that you could show all of the nifty laser sword. The color shcheme looks stylized, and gives a further distancing from humanness.

I think she is neat. I'm sure there are warriors somewhere in the grey genetic pool. Could be that she is martian- the greys there are said to have originated in the constelation of Orion and settled on Mars.

:-) Rafael Crazy Gonzalez replies: "Very cool idea there, miss Creena (you are a 'miss' aren't you?). It's much like the concept that we humans may have our own offshoots or ancestors elsewhere amongst the stars. And with that said, I lean more towards a relative species of the Gray, then a warrior class within the their own culture. But still, I thank you once again for such well done feedback and if I end up using the concept for story fodder, I give credit where credit is do."

I really love this! It's a good mixture of various things I recognize. The woman looks like a classic "Grey" type of alien, yet her face and hairstyle remind me of protoss, and to a lesser extent of Mother Gaius from the Bene Gesserit sisterhood in the movie Dune. The style of her red dress reminds me of the Egyptian goddess Sekhmet.

I wonder...is she telepathic? Much like your other creation, could she be telepathic as well? Hell, I more so want to know why she looks so serious...is she about to battle, or something?

Thank you for the kind words. I just recently came accross the Elfwood site and well, it was good to see "Redd" again. Has it been 3 years? Keep up the good work.
