Demonica Lazdry is one of the lead heroes of the 'Phil and Tiq' story. She was born from the union of the human Fred Lazdry, and the succubus Tragic Juliet. And although treated as an outcast by both species at first, she later earned their respect as a great hero against threats that was greater then both. During this time, she meet and became good friends with a young Phil Amazo, and meets up with him again many years later after he forms a group to save Nira from an ongoing human / harpy war.
Despite her mother's blood, she takes more after her kind hearted father and is not what most people would expect a succubas to be like. She's has a good soul and bright personailty, almost like a fun loving big sister type. And she's also major kidder who's always saying that she's going to take Phil away someday. Unfortunately harpies don't have much of a sense of humor, making her an unwanted, if not falsely accused, rival to Tiq, who has feelings for Phil. But even Tiq can't deny Demonica's positive presence around the group and accepts her mostly for that alone.
Demonica is also quite old despite her stunning good looks, being somewhere around 78 years old. And although many don't know it, she has been married three times before. First to a demon warrior named Manak, second to a human ruler named Duke Christopher, and lastly and briefly to a young human woman Shrapnel Sherry of the Beautiful Bomber Squad mercenary group. Her bisexual nature and other sexual cravings, although kept mostly in check, is another trait from her mom's side. But these marriages prove that she can sincerely fall in love...one night in-between flings not included of course.
Beyond her seductive charm, Demonica's other weapons and powers include her claws, skillful flying, and immense strength. She also knows a bit of black magic to help things out, with her most devastating attack being the HH Crusher, a nearly unstoppable magical energy emblem made from a combination of dark Demon magic and holy Elven magic. Hence the name HH Crusher, as in Heaven and Hell.
The two different earrings she wears, a white snake representing life, and a red skull representing death, are in honor of her late parents. Juliet may have been a ruthless demon criminal, and her father, the gentle shepherd Fred, may have been from two totally different worlds. But the fact that they still fell in love and had a child as wonderful as Demonica proves to their heroic offspring at least, that love can be a very powerful thing.
