Once again, two more giant monster characters of mine, and this time with size comparisons to regular human beings. Paul Kaboto is a genetically engineered beetle creature created by a scientist to protect his daughter from harm in the distant future where many large and dangerous mutant beasts rule. The relationship between Paul and Laura Kaboto, the scientist's daughter, is much more like close siblings then pet and owner, especially considering that Laura has telethapy and can communicate with Paul as he can to her on an equal level. Paul has no types of beam weapons or long range attacks like most Japanese style monsters. But he makes up for that disability with incredible endurance, powerful armor, great strength and impressive fighting talents which makes him one Hell of a challenger against anyone and anything that menaces him and his surrogate older sister. Despite the obvious diffrence in size, Laura is the older of the two. Paul can also fire a nasty burning liquid from his butt much like the real life Bombarder Beetle, one of the many insects whose DNA he was created from.

The quadrupedal gray brute is Garamandra, a wandering space monster many thousands of years old. His armored body can withstand massive levels of heat and gravitational force which allows him to enter any planet's atmosphere. And travels through the cosmos like a sentient meteor by mental flight. He can fire devastating lasers out of the four organic red jewels on his forehead, tail, and shoulders, which also serves as extra pairs of eyes. Garamandra is not evil, but is a very foul tempered beast who doesn't take crap and threats lightly. He doesn't need oxygen or nourishment to survive the endless void of space for he can gain energy and life support from the always constant radiation levels found in it, much like an Earth plant to sunlight and heat.

Yello! Dropped by through serendipity and decided to leave a comment. Nice, sharp designs there and if you dont' mind me saying, they'd be adorable as plushies. *evil grin*

Awesome work, Raf! Garamandra looks like something out of the old Hanna Barbara Godzilla Cartoon. And a definate eye catching color scheme on Paul. Love those pincers! Outstanding monster designs!

Great ideas, love these characters.
I have always wanted to illustrate my own Godzilla story in a comic form, and the funnest part would be inventing the monsters.
I haven't been here in a while, but I never forget anybody on elfwood.
Hope you will create mores monsters one day.
Take care.
