SciFi and Fantasy Art Dont Trust Elves by Raina Kuptz

In my attempt to force myself to do more scenes with backgrounds, versus characters standing in thin air, this was a result. Back-story scene from a D&D character of mine's history, the kid is half-elf of the drow persuasion. He was taught early on that most elves are not to be trusted. This knowledge has served him well considering these days he has the Eldreth Veluuthra after him.

Drawn in pencil, inked, then colored in Photoshop.

Also if they where enimies then why would the elf be there in the first place and if he where a spy or somthind wouldn't he be disguised? That all (im not trying to critisize im just asking.
