SciFi and Fantasy Art Tweak: Black Velvet by Curt Rapala

Didn't ink this one. Tried something new. Straight colored the pencils, following a tutorial by Joe Pekar (www.joepekar.com) As such, while it's a completely different drawing, you can see some very apparent stylistic similarities between my coloring, and that of the tutorial. Still, I'm learning, and I think it looks good, but pencils are far less manageable then inks. Hard to get the fuzz and nonsense out, and make it look clean on top of a background (hence the white stroke line).

Still, I could see myself doing it again, since as I said, I think it looks good. Gonna need to practice though.
