ANYWAY...

Street Fighter's Cammy

This... very much so... is a drawing like... 15 years in the making. Not that I've been working on it 15 years or anything, it's just that... a WAY long time ago, when I was 10 years old, drawing things crappily in my 10 year old way, Cammy was one of the first characters I actually ever tried to do a fancy drawing of. Looking back now, it sucked (naturally) and I don't know what became of it, but Cammy has more or less been on the backburner of my brain for over a decade.

Fun Fact I've Known Forever but you Haven't: Tweak's Bangs. Completely knowingly and intentionally stolen from Cammy, about a decade ago. I've always refered to them as her "Cammy Bangs". There's your proof Cammy has always been in the back of my mind.

So, that said, I bought Super Street Fighter IV recently, and in the weeks since then, she's slowly been pushing her way off the backburner, back onto the frontburner. (With an unexpected side of Ibuki, which may be explored at a later date.)

I think one of the things that kept me from drawing her for years was I knew what I wanted from the drawing, and I never felt I could actually pull it off. I'm not saying this is the best drawing ever, and I'm not even saying it's the best Cammy ever, 'cause it's certainly not, but there are things I wanted from this drawing...

I wanted it to be some sort of dynamic action pose... not just a boring posey-pose. I wanted something that showed off the curvature of her butt, but didn't seem like it was trying too... lol.

So in any event, there it is. I don't think it turned out to be everything I wanted it to, but I also don't think it turned out bad.

Oh PS. While I don't hate Shadaloo Cammy or anything, I am a card carrying member of the "Delta Red Cammy 4 Life" club. Choosing which one to do was never even a matter of debate, in my mind.

In any event: Thoughts?
