| 26 Sep 2000 | Anon. | Loading...I'd like to say, this is very interesting. Hobbits as i thought they were know in the world, are a peaceful and positive race an dthe weapon your impression carrys is just not in the nature of a real hobbit. good picture, though it should have been a bit fatter, have grown a beard and could a dwarf. | |
| 9 Nov 2000 | With lUV | Loading...Yes, he does kinda look feral. I think the length of the legs need a wee bit of an adjustment.
From what I could imagine after reading "Lords of the Ring," typical hobbits seem to be about three to 3' to 3 1/2' heads.
This one appears to be close to five heads. When compared to dwarves, they are believed to be 3 to 4 heads.
Anyway the rendering of this work is ok since this is your adventurous type of guy.You know, the drwaing above seems to be a distant relative of Wolverine.
(Thanks to his hairy arms.) BY the way do any of you have a guide on how to draw these little folk? I might need this in my thesis. Thanks. | |
| 3 Sep 2001 | Andrew Clucas | Loading...If no-one's told you - be careful.... TSR got into legal trouble with the estate of J.R.R. Tolkein for using the word "hobbit" in their original stuff, which is why they changed theirs to "halfling". If this other site isn't yours, you might want to pass that on.... | |
| 15 Oct 2001 | Robin | Loading...Gollum was a hobbit, if I'm not mistaken. It was the power of the ring that corrupted him and changed his body, right? | |
| 8 Feb 2004 | Akane | Loading...Oh! , is that a hobbit? , it looks angry. I like the coloring. | |
| 15 Mar 2004 | Charlie K | Loading...I don't really know what WITH LUV is on about. The number of heads in relationship with with the body matters not,as they are not human sized heads, but Hobbits which would be very small. They could of had human proportions but only measured 2-4 feet in height. | |
