SciFi and Fantasy Art Arachnid´s Quester, Fear by Kimberly Raptor Price Riley

This guy's name is Fear, who was enslaved by a power named Arachnid. There is a very detailed story line behind Arachnid, Fear, and the Raptor. Fear is based off the Egyptian, jackal headed God of the dead, Anubis. This was one of my first works in Paint Shop with a graphic's pad. As I now understand the program and the pad a little better, I went back and redid him, adding in a new background too. I'm still not too sure what to think.

8 Mar 2004	Aaa B Ccc	Loading... All "good" bad guys have style. It's some sort of law of writing. Anyway, about the picture. I like it a lot - the stance is terrific, but I just think it's weird that he doesn't seem to have an eye, just some yellow paint or markings or whatever those are. I'm aware that it might be intentional, but it still looks kind of odd. Kimberly Raptor Price Riley replies: "Yeap, done on purpose. He does in fact have an eyes, but they are kept closed and somewhat invisible to those looking at him. Mostly because when he opens his eyes, the area he's in is flooded with a bright light and a deafening tone. Maybe one of these days I'll go back and do a picture of just his head, his eyes open.. hehehe."
