Isn't a leviathan like a couple of miles long ?... Well...Awesome pic it is...But not really leviathan right? Kimberly Raptor Price Riley
replies: "Well, depends on who you ask... Some of the really old stories put them as that, but the fact is, the word leviathan just means big creature in the water. And, since you're asking me and I'm the animal nut, leviathan is actually referring to a whale...The blue whale comes in at 100 feet long and maybe the largest animal that has every lived, even beating out the various marine reptiles and dinos, some of which were massive themselves. Ichthysaurus, the one that kinda looks like a dolphin, but isn't, one species of them was as big as an 18-wheeler. Anyway, I degrees. Since whales are leviathans (though I'm sure finding fossils of the ancient reptiles added to the myths), and this is not a whale, then I suppose yes, it's not a leviathan."
